Sumbmissions
At Generation Impact, we are excited to help young Christians share their thoughts and views with the world through articles. We hope to publish submissions from a variety of authors in the View Point page. This page is designed for thought-provoking articles that will inspire and encourage Christians in their daily lives. Articles for this page should be 600 – 1,000 words.
Because we are also dedicated to publishing quality writing for our readers, here are some tips to keep in mind while crafting an article for Generation Impact:
1. Use active voice, not passive.
2. Avoid flowery language.
3. Avoid stuffing your article with adjectives. Active verbs pull the reader along.
4. Avoid excessively long sentences.
5. Avoid long paragraphs. When confronted with large chunks of text, online readers tend to scan, skip, and click to the next page.
6. Read your submission aloud before sending it. If you stumble over a word or sentence, your readers will too.
7. Allow a family member or friend to read and critique your article before submitting.
Please submit articles in Times New Roman, 12 pt. font. To submit your article, attach it as a word document to an email or paste it into the body of an email. Send to submissions@generation-impact.com.
Our editors look forward to working with you!
