The Life and Thoughts of a Home School Graduate
Felicia Alvarez’s book Exposed: The Life and Thoughts of a Home School Graduate, is a reminder of just how different homeschooling can look for each family. She points out that there’s no “one size fits all,” but that homeschooling can be tailored to fit each family, and child’s, individual needs and provide additional learning opportunities in areas of interest.
In her own words Felicia tells of her learning experiences, from practicing Spanish by playing grocery store with friends, to receiving her dissection victims in mail packages, and participating in extracurricular activities such as ballet, piano, and voice lessons.
Felicia also addresses the difficulty of choosing a college education that she and her parents could be confident was the right path for her, as well as a learning experience that would not undermine her faith in God.
Written in an informative and interesting style, Exposed is a good read for anyone, whether you’re a homeschool graduate, someone interested in homeschooling, or just looking for a good book.
